Short Film Synopsis

Our protagonist Rachel (played by Julia Maggiola) takes her niece to a conference where she hopes to exact revenge upon the man responsible for her sister’s death. But her plans are thwarted when a mysterious woman (played by Keaton Morris-Stan) offers her a different path. Rachel must choose between her madness and a methodical means to an end.
This short film explores revenge through the eyes of women living in a man's world. We play with themes of logic vs emotion and women supporting women, against a morally grey background.
Goals & Goalposts
Our full fundraising goal is $20K - this will cover the entirety of Production as well as Post Production and Distribution. The breakdown of our budget:
PRODUCTION
$7K covers our Cast & Crew
$4K covers our Rentals & Purchases
$2K covers our Hospitality (travel, crafty etc.)
$3K covers our Insurance & Contingency
When we reach this initial goal of $16K, we'll be GREENLIT to film in February!
POST-PRODUCTION
$2K covers Staffing
$500 covers Licensing
When we reach this secondary goal of $18.5K, we'll have funding to FINISH the film by August!
DISTRIBUTION
$1.5K will allow us to submit to approximately 30 Film Festivals!
When we reach this ultimate goal of $20K, we'll be able to submit to top-tier Film Festivals, and share this story with the world!
